Coronavirus (COVID-19) An Important Update Regarding Orders

Due to the unprecedented demand being placed on our delivery network and social distancing measures requiring us to operate with a reduced team, we are experiencing delays on delivery, and responses. Whilst we are working to minimise such delays, we must prioritise the safety of our colleagues and customers at this time..

The demand for our product range has increased over the last few weeks.  Whilst we are still coping with the increased traffic the transport networks to ship large items are starting to struggle.

With this in mind it has become necessary to bring in additional lead times to help ease the pressure on distribution.  This means that all orders placed on or after 08th July 2020 will be subject to a minimum lead time of five working days.

Average delivery lead time is currently 10 to 14 working days from placement of order.  (Evolution canopy system has an extended lead time of 12 to 14 weeks from date of order)

We encourage all customers that require an urgent delivery to get in touch via email to: enquiries@polycarbcentral.co.uk

Deliveries to the following areas are still severely delayed:

SA16, SA17 SA19, SA20 Postcodes, SA31 to SA73 Postcodes, ALL LD Postcodes, SY6 to SY25 Postcodes, ALL LL Postcodes, TR12 to TR26 Postcodes, LA11 to LA23 Postcodes, CA7, CA14, CA15 Postcodes, CA18 to CA28 Postcodes, DG5 to DG9 Postcodes, ALL KA Postcodes, ALL IV Postcodes, ALL PA Postcodes, ALL KW Postcodes, ALL WC Postcodes, ALL EC Postcodes, ALL SW Postcodes, ALL SE Postcodes

Orders for delivery to these areas will be delayed. The extent of the delay will vary but may exceed three weeks.

These delays are outside of our direct control and lie solely with the carrier providers.  We will always endeavour to get orders processed and delivered as soon as possible.

Our trade counter remains open and orders can be collected from our depot.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Delivery of our products are made via our own fleet of vehicles on a 10-14 day basis across the entire central uk area.  Delivery to areas outside of our transport range can be made via our carrier system and usually takes 10-14 days.   Extra packaging is provided to ensure a perfect product is received when using this service. If your order is placed after noon please allow an extra day. Certain products (e.g. Evolution Canopies) have a longer lead time as noted in their description.

We strive for perfection and 99.9% of the time your goods will be delivered in the time frame outlined above. Unfortunately conditions beyond our control (e.g. a vehicle breakdown) may delay your order. Therefore, please do not arrange tradesmen on site until the goods have been delivered and checked for damage and completeness. Central Polycarbonates are not liable for consequential losses caused by goods arriving damaged or late.

It is important that on receipt of your order that you check for any damage BEFORE signing the delivery note. If any damage is evident you must clearly note this on the deliver note before signing. Your goods are insured in transit but you cannot make a claim for a replacement or refund if you have not stated on the delivery note that the goods are DAMAGED or if you have signed the delivery note as UNCHECKED. The same applies to missing items. Unless the delivery note clearly states that these items are back ordered, you must note any quantity discrepancy on the delivery note before signing in order to claim a refund or replacement.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for any reason other than being damaged and indicated as such as described above. Many of our goods are cut to size so it is very important that you measure carefully, check thoroughly and then re-measure just to be sure.

Once your product has been received it is important that you store it properly prior to use. In general sheets should be stored vertically on their long edge and at a slight angle, out of direct sunlight. If they must be stored in sunlight then all outer packaging should be removed to avoid heat build up.
